This proposal was inspired by forms reminiscent of coronal mass ejections, their return to the sun and dissipation into space. These loops were to create a place for students at the school to contemplate and glean inspiration from the complex tectonics of the overall assembly and its ordered form derived from the physical mechanics of magnetism. With sufficient height to walk beneath, this form was to function as a beacon for passerby, demonstrating the function of the school to the wider campus. Made with 1/8” vividly painted aluminum stripes, tangentially mechanically connected.
