Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating on groundbreaking cultural projects alongside some of the industry’s foremost visionaries. As an Artist, Architect, Engineer, and Fabricator, I’ve taken on various roles to bring some of the world’s most beautiful and complex geometry to life.
As Director at THEVERYMANY with Marc Fornes, I propelled the office into the public art sphere through design and development of several formal assembly approaches as well as functioning as lead for design, code, coordination, installation and prototyping on several projects around the globe. The most prominent project is the annex amphitheatre to Frank Gehry’s Merriweather Post Pavilion. The Chrysalis was community-funded through a non-profit trust, requiring deep integration with public desires.
As the sole Geometry Specialist in the NYC office, I was mentored by Santiago Calatrava on design, engineering, and art. My main roles were production geometry for the UAE Pavilion at Expo Dubai, fabrication of private art, and coordination of Public Art. Here too we pushed the boundaries of structural innovation.
At nbbj Architects I led Geometry and Computation on the Amazon Helix project. Near vertical integration with engineering and fabrication maximized the building’s experience by optimizing geometry for production of structure, facade, systems, and all formal elements.
My mission is to create some of the world’s most beautiful structures, to leave lasting impressions on visitors, with works that optimize the design processes through production to installation, ensuring that every project delivers maximum effect and value. With Partwise, I embark on a journey to introduce this transformative experience to the public art sphere, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to redefine the boundaries of spectacle.
