The proposals collected here represent projects that were never realized, yet remain central to the evolution of Partwise Design. Each concept was developed with the same rigor as our built work, integrating computational form finding, structural logic, fabrication strategy, and site specificity. Though not selected, these proposals pushed material boundaries, tested new geometries, and expanded the language of emergent form within the public realm.
Unbuilt work is not unused work. It is a laboratory for innovation. Many of the ideas explored here inform future installations, refine our technical processes, and deepen our understanding of how structure, light, and movement can shape experience.
